After clicking on the free sign up button, you enter or upload your list of VIPs you want to send a digital gift card to on their birthday/anniversary into the easy-to-use form on the site.
Purchase a credit bundle on the site to cover each birthday/anniversary VIP you want to send.
At 8:00am local time on the morning of their birthday/anniversary, the VIP receives your text and email with a link to their $5 gift card directly from the official major coffee retailer website.
The VIP orders their favorite drink or food item in store or in the drive-thru then clicks on the link and the coffee retailer employee scans the $5 gift code directly from the VIP’s phone.
REMINDER MESSAGES
Ultimately, everyone wants to see each gift cards used and Bday.vip helps with the process. If the gift cards are not redeemed, our system will know and we will send out reminder messages to your customers both in email and text reminding them to use the gift cards.
This gives you even more brand exposure to your VIPs. We send out these reminder messages 1 day after the original sending date, 7 days after, and a final reminder 30 days after.
After your VIP clicks on the redemption link, they will receive a return text and email reminding them to thank You for your gift to them which you will receive.
Unused Gift Card Credits are Returned to your Account
Bday.vip keeps track of the redemption status of gift cards. We will send the VIP three separate reminder messages encouraging them to use their card, but if the gift card remains unused after 180 days, the credit is refunded to your account. That prevents you from wasting money on unused gift cards. You can use this refunded credit to send another gift card to a different VIP on your list.
